Our Programs
UTP Stage I
This eight-course program is designed to help you transition to university-level programs in the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Faculty of Science, Lazaridis School of Business and Economics, and the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences. Strong students may be able to jump and complete the program in four months.
UTP Stage II
A year one equivalent program. Students enter second year at Laurier after completion of UTPII.
UTP Stage II: Arts
Are you considering a career in business, education or the non-profit sector? Studying in the arts, you’ll learn to think critically, work cooperatively and put ideas into local, global and historical perspectives. This pathway offers the flexibility to explore a diverse range of courses, with major options that include Communication Studies, Film Studies, Political Science and many more.
UTP Stage II: Business and Economics
Gain an in-depth look into the complex, exciting business world. The Lazardis School operates the largest business degree co-op program in the country, so you’re sure to gain valuable experience that will translate into employment opportunities. The employment rate for the Economic (BA) program in 2020 was 100%.
UTP Stage II: Human and Social Sciences
If your dream is to make a positive impact on the world around you, get equipped with the right skills to do so at the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences. Explore relevant social issues and apply this knowledge at local projects and government sponsored programs. Prepare for a variety of careers in the fields of criminology, healthcare or psychology.
UTP Stage II: Liberal Arts
In this faculty, knowledge and know-how come hand-in-hand as every program offers you the chance to apply your learnings in the real world. Develop your thinking and communication skills while exploring fields such as Digital Media and Journalism, Law and Society or UX Design.
UTP Stage II: Science
The Faculty of Science, home to leading edge research centres, offers degrees in some of the world’s most high-demand and emerging careers. o Here’ you’ll find an abundance of opportunities to get involved in high-impact research programs, hands-on co-op work experiences and more. Major options include Data Science, Computer Science and Financial Mathematics.
